This Is How They Fish Piranha In Brazil

The moment that the tiny baby piranhas hatch from their microscopic eggs, they come into the world armed and extremely dangerous. These baby piranhas will feast on tiny crustaceans, fruits, seeds, and aquatic plants. When they get to reach about 1.5 inches in length they begin feeding on the fins and flesh of other fishes that wander too closely. As they grow larger, the more dangerous they can be. They venture out in groups of about 20 fish where they use a variety of hunting strategies to kill and eat their prey.

As a matter of fact what makes them so ferocious is that they don’t kill their prey first, they just start eating their victim alive! Adult piranhas have been known to eat their own babies. Talk about brutal!

You wouldn’t think taking this flesh eating fish as a pet you put in your aquarium, it will be a whole lot of different story. Believe it or not, there are people who actually keep piranhas as "pets". Piranhas aren't good pets in the traditional sense because you can't hold or pet them, and they aren't affectionate. Piranha owners still must be extremely careful of the fish's sharp teeth and aggressive nature. Keeping them well fed is probably the key to keeping them mellow.

We never really know when in time you go get yourself for a swim and there goes a shoal of piranhas swimming around, that will be super scary to think of! Piranhas freak people out for they are known for their sharp teeth, love for meat and powerful jaws.

But perhaps not all are scared of it for people in Brazil manage to catch piranhas in their way of fishing. Apparently, if you a slab of raw meat, you’ll be able to grab quite a catch of piranhas in Brazil.

She looks like she has been doing this kind of things for ages! Look how she catches these fishes without any hassle and puts them on the pail easily. These red-bellied piranha can be found in the coastal rivers of northeastern Brazil. Despite their ferocious reputations, this lady isn’t afraid to lure them in with their weakness and make a meal out of them.

How do you fish for piranha? Well then here’s a woman showing us how it’s done.

I suppose the only remaining question is: are piranhas tasty?
